Pretoria High School For Girls principal suspended

The principal at Pretoria High School for Girls has been suspended for three months.

Gauteng Education MEC Matome Chiloane visited the school on Tuesday, 30 July following racism allegations which have once again plagued the school.

The principal, who was appointed in 2018, allegedly did not follow up on the matter when the allegations were brought to her attention.

“While we are still busy with a disciplinary process, we have taken the decision to suspend the principal of the school until the matter has been concluded. We have appointed done of the deputies to come in and act,” Chiloane said during a media briefing at the school.
